Adstract Art has a proud history of working with (and supporting) not-for-profit organisations. Melbourne City Mission is a great organisation that’s nearly as old as Melbourne itself. Since it’s inception in 1854, the organisation has expanded to provide support for vulnerable individuals, families and communities, now with over 200 programs aimed at changing lives every day.
Our solutions have included photographic and website design services. The photography was done to support the visual work we were doing online, but it was also provided to the organisation to help them build a library of relevant imagery to use in their marketing materials.
The first website was for a program called ‘Family Reconciliation and Mediation Program’, or FRMP. This is a CMS-driven website that provides news & information for those that need support as well as for the workers who provide the support. The site also features online event registration and a blog.
We have also developed a responsive website for the ‘Creating Connections’ program. This website also speaks to those needing support as well as those providing support. The focus for each is to provide a series of online resources. With a mobile solution in place, these resources can now be accessed anywhere, anytime by those that might not have a desktop computer, but who all seem to have a smartphone.
The considered approach we have taken with all the work we do with Melbourne City Mission has been really appreciated, as evidenced by the recent feedback:
“The team really understood our work and came up with a great concept, then they made the whole process hassle free, including training our staff to administer the website in future. The result is a website that works effectively and looks fantastic!”
