When it comes to communications, there are few more important than an organisation’s Annual Report. ACSO approached Adstract Art to create an engaging, effective report that not only delivered on mandatory reporting requirements...but which would be a great communications tool for the organisation.
The Annual Report was carefully designed to reinforce ACSO’s strategic initiatives, launch the organisation’s new brand and provide the basis for change. It successfully engaged key audiences including ACSO’s own team, partners like NGOs and government departments, as well as ACSO clients and the broader community.
As well as using the new corporate identity, which conveys the concept of support, relationships, compassion and connectedness, special emphasis was given to key messages like “giving people another chance”, “supporting disenfranchised people” and “transforming lives”. This helped create a clear picture of who ACSO is and what they do, creating pride within the ACSO team and generating a very positive response from clients and stakeholders.
This highly successful communication won a Price Waterhouse Cooper’s Silver Award for Annual Reports and received outstanding feedback from a wide range of people. The Hon Justice Sally Brown, AM, said the report was ‘fabulous’ while Rose, Project Officer at ACSO, said, “We continue to receive accolades about the report – it is a great communication tool which, together with our new visual identity, has increased stakeholder understanding. It is the genius of Adstract Art’s design that has led to this success.”
